Sticky Notes version 3.0 is now rolling out for devices running the Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) and later. Up until recently, the new version of Sticky Notes was only available through the Windows Insider Program, but now, the company has announced that is gradually making available the app to everyone.

Although Sticky Notes has been around for years, this new version preserves many of the visuals, but the most interesting additions are the ability to sync your notes across devices, and the new organizer with a search functionality to find your notes.

The sync functionality works using a Microsoft account that no only makes possible to roam your notes to other devices using the same account, but it also keeps a backup of your notes in the cloud, and eventually, they will sync to your Android and iOS devices too (feature no yet available).

In addition to new features, the interface has been updated to support stylus, assistive technology, Narrator, and high contrast, and there’s even a new dark themed note called “Charcoal Note.”

The update is rolling out immediately to supported versions of Windows 10, but it’ll take some time to reach everyone. You can always check for updates using the “Downloads and Updates” section in the Microsoft Store app.
