Have you ever felt the need to delete an account and remove all the associated information from the internet? The reason could be anything. Maybe you are unsatisfied with their services or found a better alternative or simply you don’t need it anymore. Well, deleting your account from some platform that you no longer wish to use is a wise thing to do. This is because it helps you to remove sensitive personal information, financial details like a bank account, card details, transaction history, preferences, search history, and a lot of other information. When you have made up your mind to part ways with some service, it is better to clear the slate and leave nothing behind. The best way to do this is by deleting your account.

  1. You will not be able to access your transaction history, review past orders, deal with refunds or returns. It will also delete all your financial information like your card details.

  2. All your digital credit balances in various apps and wallets, which includes gift cards and vouchers will no longer be available.

The first thing that you need to do is log in to your account. Any account related operation including deleting it would require you to log in first. This is the only way in which you can access the options to delete your account.

Step 2: Close all Open Order

You cannot delete your account if you have an open order. An open order is one that is still under process and hasn’t been delivered yet. It could also be a return/exchange/refund request that is ongoing currently. In order to close open orders: –

  1. Click on the Orders tab.

  2. Now select the Open Orders option.

  3. If there are any open orders, then click on the request cancellation button.

Step 3: Go to the Help Section

  1. Go to the bottom of the page.

  2. You will find the help option at the very end on the lower right-hand side.

  3. Click on the Help option.

  4. You will see a lot of options. Now click on the Need more help option which is right at the end of the list or navigate to Customer Service at the bottom.

  5. Now select the option to Contact Us which appears as a separate list on the right-hand side of the page.

In order to contact customer care executives for the purpose of deleting your account, you need to choose the correct options.

  1. Firstly, click on the ‘Prime or Something Else’ tab.

  2. You will now find a drop-down menu at the bottom of the page which asks you to select an issue. Select the ‘Login and Security’ option.

  3. This will provide you with a new drop-down menu. Select the option to ‘Close my account’.

  4. At the bottom, you will find three options as to how you would like to contact them. The options are email, chat, and phone. You can choose any method that is convenient for you.
