SMS Filter is a very useful application for Android that allows users to get rid of spam and unwanted messages. The application enables users to mark messages from specific phone numbers as spam. Sized at almost 200kb, the application requires Android 2.1 or higher to work properly.
Using the application is fairly simple and straight forward. Once installed, launch the application and start adding numbers to the blacklist. You have the option of adding the numbers manually or from your call or message logs. Click the Add button on the main screen and it will ask you which number you want to block.
Now, any message from the blacklisted number will be automatically marked as spam. You can manually check the blocked messages by going to Spam tab in the application.
