Just a simple and clean wooden workspace with abundant ambient light. A really beautiful minimalist workspace designed for tranquility and heavy reading.

The large computer desk is strategically located under the slanted roof to take advantage of the natural light during the day. Everything about Karel Javurek’s home office space was meant to be simple, even the bonsai that adds a bit of nature inside of house. What’s also interesting is that you don’t notice the computer’s tower, which is well hidden under the table that makes everything look clean and neat. This workspace just shows that you don’t need a lot to work comfortably from your own home.

If you have a workspace of your own to show off, share it here by sending an email at [email protected] using “featured workspace” in the subject line. Images must be at least 780×369 (you can send the images via attachment, but a hosted images in Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, etc., will be appreciated) and please include some text describing the space (e.g., the story behind the design, where the pieces came from, about the tech on the desk, etc. — you get the idea.)
