ScissorsFly is a useful service that allows users to save web clippings from any webpage. Users can save images, text, portions of web pages and their ScissorsFly account. The web clippings can then be printed or shared via Email, Twitter or LinkedIn. Users can even browse the clippings shared by other ScissorsFly users and save their clippings.

To get started, you must sign up for an account on ScissorsFly. When you login for the first time, you will be asked to install the ScissorsFly extension for your browser which you can then use to save web clippings. Visit any website and click the ScissorsFly icon. A window will pop up showing up all the stuff, including images, rectangular area, entire screen and much more, that can be saved to ScissorsFly. If you select images, it will show you all the images on the web page and you can select the one you want to use.

All the web clippings are saved to “boards”. When you clip any item from the web, it will ask you about the board on which you want to save.

Later, the boards can also be shared via different social networks and email. You can even save boards shared by other ScissorsFly members on your account.
