Samsung has just released stability updates for Galaxy Note II which is meant to increase battery life and fixes bugs present in the previous version of the OS. This update is based on android 4.1.2. The update is available via Samsung Kies or OTA services.

Last week, Galaxy S3 and Note 2 owners were bummed after Sammobile tweeted that the much anticipated  4.2.2 updates for their smartphones have been delayed. Is Samsung pushing its customers to the good stuffs – Custom ROMs like Cyanogenmod 10.1?. The tweet states “new TouchWiz” as the reason for  the delay. Maybe Samsung wants to make the UI perfect and impress everyone. Only time will tell.

Here is the tweet:

It is now reported that Samsung is planning to roll out the 4.2.2 updates on Q3 2013. That could take as long as December.
