Samsung has recently launched two new Galaxy smartphones in India, along with their simultaneous official announcement. The devices launched are Galaxy E5 and E7, which come under mid-range and are priced likewise.

Along with these two devices, Samsung has also released Galaxy A3 and A5 in India, which were announced previously and are already available in some countries. Samsung has also announced that the Galaxy A series and the Galaxy E series smartphones will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the near future. Samsung also announced that is has partnered with Vodafone for free data on all the four smartphones. The two series have similar specifications, but the A series smartphones are metal built (similar to Galaxy Alpha), and the E series have plastic build. The A series also have the LTE connectivity support, which is lacked by the E series devices. The Galaxy A5 has the highest price tag among all three – 25,500 INR (approximately $402). The Samsung Galaxy E7 will command a price of 22,500 INR ($323) while the Galaxy A3 and E5 will cost 20,500 INR and 19,300 INR ($304) respectively.
