Unlike previous games, you don’t need ink ribbons or other things to save, so you can do so if you come across a typewriter. Just before entering the castle Dimitrescu, you’ll come across your very first typewriter in a bizarre church in the village. You’ll now be allowed to select one of the 20 save slots available for you. Pick the slot you want to save or overwrite your game and then press X on a PlayStation or A on an Xbox to validate the save.
