Capcom has recently announced that it will launch an open beta test for Resident Evil Re:Verse.
The client download will be available from April 7 at 11:00 p.m. PT / April 8 at 2:00 a.m. ET in the morning, while the servers of the Open Beta will close at the same time on April 11. The Beta will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
In order to participate, you must have a Capcom ID associated with your gaming platform. We remind you that the Beta test of Resident Evil Re:Verse will also be accessible on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in backward compatibility for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
Resident Evil Re:Verse was launched by Capcom as the Resident Evil Village multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode of Village will consist of a free-for-all, and will give us the opportunity to take on the role of the main protagonists of the saga in a gigantic battle for survival.
The artistic direction will be predominant in Resident Evil Re:Verse, characterized by a comic and particular style. In the past, we have already admired Claire Redfield’s intent on taking down various undead and famous villains from previous titles, including Jack Baker from Resident Evil 7.
The most interesting feature is certainly the possibility of transforming ourselves into powerful monsters after our death. The type of villain we are going to play will depend on the number of T-Virus samples we managed to collect during the game.
We just have to try this new Beta to put on this interesting multiplayer mode, and thus challenge our friends in the role of the fearsome Nemesis.
