If you are a Mac user, you probably know that you can press the “Ctrl + Shift + 4” to screen capture a user-defined region. While taking the screenshot, what if you have selected a region at a corner of the screen, only to discover that the region you want is at the other corner of the screen? You can let go of the mouse click, delete the screenshot and redo the process again.
Here is a neat trick that allows you to move the selected region to another part of the screen.
While selecting the region, press “Space” on the keyboard without releasing the mouse. You will find that you are able to move the selected region to any where you want on the screen.
Once you have moved to the area you want, release the “Space” button without releasing the mouse to continue resizing the selected region.
Let go of the mouse and it will capture the region that you wanted.
