Quantum Break has been a long time on the making with many ups and downs. Gamers had their first sneak peek of the game close to three years ago, then in 2014, Microsoft announced the game release on 2015, but of course that didn’t happen. However, now Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment have some exciting news for Xbox One owners.

Quantum Break has an official release date. It’ll launch on Xbox One on April 5, 2016.

Even better news, Microsoft has also announced that the game will be available for Windows 10 PC the same day it releases for Xbox. The biggest surprise is that the software giant also confirmed that those who pre-order the digital-copy of Quantum Break on Xbox One will get the version for Windows 10 for free.

If that wasn’t enough, every copy of the game will include Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake for Xbox 360 with two add-on packs: The Writer and The Signal. In addition, those who pre-order Quantum Break on the Xbox One store or participating retailers, will also get Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for Xbox 360.

It’s important to note that you will be able to play these Xbox 360 titles on Xbox One as they are part of the Backward Compatibility list.

If you have been waiting to get an Xbox One and you also happen to be waiting for this new blockbuster game. Microsoft has also announced the Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle.

The bundle includes a Cirrus White console with 500GB of storage, controller, and copy of Quantum Break and the bonus content. You can pre-order the bundle now for $349 and will be available on March 29th.
