One of my favorite iOS 6 features, which was taken away in iOS 7, was the ability to post a tweet or Facebook status from the Notification Center. This was a feature that I used frequently and I really missed it after upgrading my iPad. Fortunately, if you have a jailbroken iOS device, you can get this feature back with the Share Widget for iOS 7 app in Cydia. The video below shows how to activate the widget in the Notification Center on an iPhone.
To get this feature back, search for “Share Widget for iOS 7” in Cydia and then install it. You’ll need to restart the Springboard and then go into Settings (as explained in the video) to enable posting to Twitter and/or Facebook. Besides the Notification Center, you can optionally include share buttons on the lock screen as well – just enable it in settings.
Are you happy to get this feature back?
