Electronics company Palm has announced the newest product in its mobile device lineup: the Palm Buds Pro, which connect to iOS and Android devices.

According to the official product page, the Palm Buds Pro come packed with features such as Active Noise Cancellation, studio-level 10mm drivers, and sweat and water resistance. The earbuds have a playing time of up to six hours on Bluetooth and a maximum of 24 hours with the charging case.

Three microphones enable the Active Noise Cancellation on each bud, working together to block out the sound. The feature functions by having an outward-facing microphone to detect environmental sounds, an inward-facing mic to monitor the sound coming out, and a third one that records your voice.

The 10mm drivers deliver what Palm calls “big thumping bass, enhanced mids, and crisp highs.” All this translates to high-quality, studio-grade sound. Active Noise Cancellation also means clear phone calls.

Palm claims it hired the designers of Beats by Dre and Samsung headphones to create and ensure this quality.

The moisture resistance was designed with an IPX4 water resistance rating, which protects the buds from splashing water or sweat. This makes the Palm Buds Pro an apt product for athletes.

The Palm Buds Pro are only available in black, while the silicone cases come in Shadow Black, Rose Pink, and Navy Blue. The earbuds are currently available for pre-order and will cost $99, but only until November 9.

After that date, the earbuds will sell for their full price of $129.
