If you own an older Samsung watch and have been jealously staring at the exclusive features available with the Galaxy Watch 4, you may be in luck.

Samsung has rolled out a software update for its Galaxy Watch line, including the original Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active 2, and Galaxy Watch 3. This update includes a slew of features previously only available on the Galaxy Watch 4, as announced by the Samsung Newsroom.

So what’s in the update? Ten watch faces that originally launched with Galaxy Watch 4, all featuring extra customization options and optional animations. The health monitoring system has been given a refresh for more accurate results, and there have been new group challenges added to the popular Work Out with Friends app.

There is also an upgraded fall detection algorithm that sends an SOS alert to approved contacts if something goes wrong. However, this feature is only available on the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2, not the original Galaxy Watch or Watch Active models.

The update rolls out today in the United States and Korea and will show up in other regions at some point in the near future.

This is a big day for Samsung, as the company also released its anticipated One UI 4 software for flagship smartphones.
