In a new marketing strategy to boost sales on Office 365 subscriptions around the world, Microsoft is now also bundling a 12 months of Xbox Live Gold for free. The offer is for new customers who purchase an Office 365 Home Premium or a four-year Office 365 University subscription before July 28th.

Customers who make the purchase of one of the cloud-based Office 365 packages will be able to get the Xbox Live subscription as they sign-in with a Microsoft account during account setup.

The promotional offer is available in 38 countries including: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom. However, it seems that United States consumers were left out of this offer.
