On Monday, March 2, 2015, Microsoft Devices Group Executive vice president, Stephen Elop, took the stage at the Mobile World Congress event and talked about how new technologies will help customers be more productive across all the Windows 10 devices.
The company also announced two new Lumia phones, including the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL, both are affordable phones, which will initially ship with Windows Phone 8.1, but they will be compatible with Windows 10 when it releases later this year.
During the presentation, the software giant demo its new Internet Explorer, Project Spartan web browser, and a number of Universal apps, including Maps and Office apps.
Microsoft also unveiled a new super-lightweight universal keyboard that works on Windows devices, iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.
