If you are still planning to buy the Google Nexus 4 smartphone, there is great news for you. Google has just cut a whopping $100 from the price of the Nexus 4, contract free. Now you can buy the Nexus 4 (8 GB) for $199 and the 16Gb version for $249 in the Google Play Store. A quad-core smartphone for $199 is quite unbelievable especially in the United States. With this news, we expect to see a lot of Nexus 4s on the hands of people in the coming days. Bummer for the people who bought the Nexus 4 few days, weeks or month earlier as their patience could’ve saved them some good cash. Sadly, the price cut is not global and only customers in Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea, US and UK can enjoy the discounts.

Since the Nexus 4 doesn’t support microSD, the 8 GB internal storage will probably not be a good option for you if you are an “Apps Enthusiast/Music lover/Mobile gamer”. If you install fifty apps or so in your 8GB memory, within a couple of weeks you will get the “Insufficient Storage Available” error. However, if you don’t want to install big games or heavy apps and regularly clean your caches, the 8 GB space will do just fine. I still recommend you to go for the 16GB Nexus 4 for $50 more.
