Despite previous reports that Nokia is dropping plans for its Normandy project, new render of the supposed Android-powered Nokia device have appeared. This latest image of the Normandy was leaked by popular tipster @evleaks in his twitter account.

The image looks like an official render of Normandy and shows a set of normandies in different color. In the middle there is a powered on Normandy running some sort of homescreen app.

This is not the first Normandy leak by @evleaks. Few days back, he leaked the image of an engineering prototype of the supposed Normandy. In the picture, a Nokia device can be seen in a casing to hide the design dimensions with only the screen and a capacitive button visible. Another leak showed the close up of the device with some apps running. If you look at the notification bar at the top you can see that there are two sims running which means the Normandy will support dual sim. This is not surprising since dual-sim phones are a big hit in the Asian market.

There is still no confirmation from Nokia regarding Normandy. However, it would be a pleasant surprise to finally see an Android powered Nokia smartphone despite the recent Microsoft-Nokia deal.
