If you’re a fan of Capcom’s most loved title of the monster hunt, the opening of today’s Nintendo Direct Mini will surely have your heart racing. The Japanese company has in fact officially announced Monster Hunter Rise, a new episode that will release on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
We will be able to choose between a Standard edition or a Deluxe edition, even a Digital Edition, which will include various bonus contents. In addition, those who pre-order their copy of the game will have additional extras, even for companions, while there are also three themed amiibo, which will unlock special in-game costumes.
It has been confirmed that there will also be a compatibility feature between Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2, but there are no other details for now. However, we know that digital pre-orders for the game are available today on Nintendo eShop, so if you want to secure the bonuses you can proceed with the purchase from the store.

A Deluxe Edition will also be available, which offers the full game and bonus downloadble content. Pre-ordering the base or Deluxe version will unlock bonus in-game items like layered armor and more. Players will be able to get even more in-game extras with Monster Hunter amiibo accessories. The three standalone amiibo accessories will be available exclusively at GameStop locations in the U.S. and EB Games in Canada.
